Erika Ervin, known professionally as Amazon Eve, is an American actress, model, TV Host and social activist who tours the world, modeling and making public appearances. Erika has headlined in over 30 countries, been featured in 200+ newspapers and magazines, and has tens of millions of hits on her websites.
She grew up in a small town in central California and, while in Australia, she was discovered by the editor of the UK men’s magazine Zoo Weekly. She was featured in the magazine’s November 2009 issue, which sold off the racks and led to millions of video views around the world. This launched Eve into the limelight of international attention and catapulted her into her modeling work.
In 2011, she was awarded the Guinness World Record for being the World’s Tallest Professional Model.
In the September 2013 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Carine Roitfeld, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, wrote an article, “Carine Roitfelt’s ‘Singular Beauties’”, with photographs by Karl Lagerfeld. The article includes 25 models and is “an homage to the diversity of women”. Among the models are Scarlett Johansson, Carmen Dell’Orefice (82 years old), Gabourey Sidibe, and Erika who is paired with the 5’9″ tall Xiao Wen Ju.
Along with her busy schedule of film, TV and print appearances, Erika is a champion for ending child abuse & neglect, and an advocate for LGBTQ rights and for those who suffer from AIDS.
